- Folders for organizing digital files
You can now organize your digital products into folders. This makes it dramatically easier to manage large libraries of files — especially for merchants selling software bundles, course content, music packs, or multi-file products. You can group files by category, version, or product line and keep your workspace clean and structured.
- Enable or disable access for specific products
Merchants can now control download access at the product level. If you want to temporarily disable downloads for certain items — for example, during a content update, a rights change, or a restructuring — you can toggle access off with one click. When re-enabled, customers regain access instantly.
- Hide file extensions on download pages
You can now hide file extensions (like .zip, .pdf, .mp4) on the customer download page. This helps create a cleaner, more branded experience — especially when file types aren’t relevant to customers or when you’re bundling multiple versions of the same asset.
- Assign different license keys from specific pools
For merchants selling multiple software versions or products that share a license key pool, you can now assign keys from a specific tag or category. This ensures customers always receive the correct type of key without manual intervention.
- Auto-assign license keys to previously unassigned orders
If an order didn’t receive a license key earlier (e.g., during migration or limited stock), Filemonk can now automatically detect and assign an available key when you update your pool. This reduces customer support work and ensures no order is left incomplete.
- Bulk import license keys with CSV upload
Upload thousands of license keys at once using a CSV file. Filemonk validates entries, skips duplicates, and gives you a clean summary of successful imports. Perfect for software sellers and high-volume activation key workflows.
- Dedicated email for reports and notifications
Choose a different email address where reports, large exports, and operational notifications should be sent. Helps merchants with larger teams route alerts to the right people.

Digital products can now be sold as preorders. Add a release date and Filemonk will automatically block early downloads, show preorder messaging, and release the files on launch day.
